A professional association has nothing to do with guilt or otherwise. It can only decide whether all its members are in conformity with its statutes. It is the independent law courts that pronounce themselves on innocence or guilt Hence your argument is simply biased and erroneous.

01/11/2017

Anthony DeGiovanni

Anthony DeGiovanni

Frankly I have not understood what you are trying so hard to express! My message was very simple. Your statement 'Persons who have done no wrong should have no fear of official investigation into their affairs' is erroneous because due process requires an independent tribunal. A professional association is neither 'official' not an independent tribunal. It can only decide whether all its members are in conformity with the provisions of its statute.

I am not aware what history books Dr Joe Fenech may have studied. But from what I read there have been and still are persons who disdain democratic processes that give power to the people in order to make their evaluations discarding petty politicians who offer nothing but hate.

The Maltese voter is not the fool Mark Bartolo makes him to be. The PN ran an election basing its campaign mostly on fortuitous corruption allegations. The Maltese voter was not taken in and voted heavily against PN discrediting its fortuitous allegations.

So if Brian Tonna owns Egrant (as stated by himself) why would his information needed to be Skyped when he is a local agent of Mossack Fonseca ? The mother company in Panama didn't have his details, then ux ? Keep chasing the tail, troll.

Precisely. Why send the name over Skype when the so called owner of "Egrant" is a desk away and on speed dial right next to you ? Let alone a registered agent of Mossack Fonseca. It is crystal clear that the MIA were touching on something that Nexia BT didn't like so Tonna and Cini ran away from the 'club' that gave them any credibility in the first place. Cowards ! Even their own staff ran away when the news broke.

It is precisley because of investigations, or lack of them, why this country is sinking fast and getting worse and worse reputations around the world, but, according to our PM a none stop building program is the only way to keep the economy in his own country alive and well, I think maybe that our PM should start to look at comments from other people outside this country are making !.

If this is not done the accountcy board is encouraging this sort of unethical behaviour an therefore its members should resign with immediate effect and replaced with people of integrity

Due you infer that the law of Malta is not apply a fair hearing and just judgement,if one is innocent. Please do explain to me how that can happen in present day Malta, if the evidence points to such innocence. In so much as I can find, guilt is no longer assumed using the "ducking stool" principle. Perhaps you could show reliable data to the opposite.
