diverticular disease if it has a small battery to store energy and re-generative breaking it would be even more ideal cos a lot of time ca is parked o stuck in petrol and it can be chaging

Plus it's all done under ideal conditions: long roads, very little stop-start and acceleration, very light vehicles and minimal load. Compare that to your average commute and add a hill or two and you're getting nowhere.

does having solar panels on the car keep the car cool by keeping the sun out ? this would alleviate the need for air con diverticular

it seems this car can . especially if it has a battey to store the energy produced whilst the car is stationay . but u may have a point as these were tested probably in a very sunny climate .

Wish they would give up on this lark. There is simply not enough surface area on a car to collect enough solar energy in a day to cover any practical transportation requirements. Wasted effort that could be directed elsewhere.

so what is the politicians going to do about this possible human disaster if they don't stop using DDT? I forgot they are busy looking for gossip about gupta.

I wish we could find something better than DDT to use in these areas. It is not healthy to any life form. We had a VERY mild winter and quite a bit of rain recently, all of the pesky insects are going to be making hay whilst the sun shines. By the way, we get malaria in Gauteng too. Not as much, but we do get it.

Now this supports my scientific assumption that generally malaria transmission kept increasing from the years 1998 to 2017. There is an upward pattern in the number of new infections, though the Health Departments insists we are winning the battle against the disease.

I went to the Afrikaans school at the bottom of the hill on which Boys High is situated. I would like to know what the Lord Hain's opinion is about the lawlessness in South Africa. Over 50 Murders every day, a women being raped every 5 seconds, a child of 5 being raped? Are you only interested in the money or are the people of South Africa more important?

disease For those that accuse Peter Hain. You are missing the point. He may be a hypocrite because he stood against the apartheid government. Does this mean he should now just keep quiet. In this moment in time 2017 he is challenging the current government. The sad reality is that for many of those in the anc they actually feel they can steal as much as they want. Being in government gives them this right. And no matter what you say about ethics, morals or laws, in there minds it makes no difference. Being in government means you are the boss, but what they fail to accept is that they work for us, the people of South Africa. Even if they are caught red handed they will not feel any kind of guilt. They are immune from any prosecution.

The ANC of those days was a completely different organisation, operating in secret. Don't confuse that ANC with the corrupt and vile ANC of today ...

While Hain is a useful tool in addressing the theft of funds from SA and also the prosecution of the offenders, he was a supporter of a violent, corrupt ANC. The same ANC that protects Zuma wherever it can. His socialist and "Remainer" backgrounds speak volumes.

Peter Hain informed me most emphatically in 2000, both in writing and verbally, that there was no evidence of BAE corruption in the arms deal. And before that he equally emphatically declared that there was nothing wrong in Britain peddling weapons to post-apartheid South Africa. Affidavits from the British Serious Fraud Office and the Scorpions detail how and why BAE paid bribes of 115 million pounds to secure the BAE and Saab contracts with South Africa, to whom the bribes were paid, and which bank accounts in SA and overseas were credited. If Hain is now so keen to clean up corruption in SA, how about starting with the British government which holds the controlling "golden share" in BAE? With the British government having guaranteed the BAE and Saab contracts and their offsets, we can make a start with cancelling the 20 year Barclays Bank loan agreements and compensation for the non-delivery of US$8.7 billion (R122 billion) in NIP and DIP offsets.

Touche', but don't hold your breath there is more blood on his hands than what meets the eye! I remember all these commies back in the 50's & 60's who sucked up to the Russians, et al. As usual the "#SA Cowards" all got their money out of South Africa when they took the "chicken run". Another aspect which the world never hears about, is why don't we ever see a black Russian? Strange isn't it!

As much as Hain's actions now are to be lauded, we need to keep in mind his culpability in bringing this completely corrupt regime to power in SA. With it's racist BBBEE laws the ANC has the blood of thousands of farmers on it's hands, often murdered after indescribable torture. If he has any success at least get the money to OUTA, who fight the good fight against corruption on a daily basis. Otherwise it'll just be recycled to the same crooks!
