We can hope, but it is unlikely. Their minds are so frequently poisoned by the gutter politics of the ANC and EF

Making the electorate hopeless and dependant on ruling party hand outs is what the ANC want. By some miracle the majority of voters will see through this come 2019?

I would like to give my piece of advice to the farmers, it seems that farm attacks and murders are now normal, everyday occurrences and the government treat them as such. If I was you TLU and rest, do what all other people in SA do , strike , burn and destroy. Stop farming, burn all your produce and destroy all food production, Lets see what these idiots in government do when everybody starts starving, maybe they will then realize how important you are. For one year do not produce anything , a hungry stomach is the best weapon there is.

Also you should see it in the context of their bigger plan - more despotic government control over each and every aspect of your life: where you work, what jobs are open to you, educational opportunities, quality of medical care, safety and security etc etc. Next they will take away the right to invest in private pension and investments, forcing it through their own channels which they can then milk

They are acting purely in self interest. The longer they manipulate the labour market by filling key positions with their own incompetent and corrupt lackeys, the easier it is for them to steal. They have no intention of not stealing - remember they did not suffer to be poor. They also score another win - by heating up the water, many frogs who could have made and impact or stopped them, are leaving or are too scared of being publicly humiliated and fired (eg the fired economist) so they rather don't speak out

Blame the crime rate on the last 23 years of ANC rule. When Rudy Guiliani offered to come to SA and "clean up the streets" Mandela told him not to worry. The saint said no.....

Listen, in order to do a good job, decent people need to be put in place. With someone like Fikile you will NEVER get it right REGARDLESS. ALSO if you carry on blaming ALL YOUR PROBLEMS on Apartheid and WMC then the country will remain at a standstill!

The minute the ANC relinquishes it's ties to unions and SACP and stops manipulating labour laws for its own agenda, the sooner the market will start to grow and deliver job's. The question is: do they have the foresight to open up the market and improve productivity, instead of sticking with unions who deliver votes and the agitation and manipulation of the workforce and employers that goes with it?

We're the 5th most populated country in Africa. 1960 we had a population of 17,4 million, we're on 56 million currently. We have a population growth of 1,5%, not as much has Nigeria's 2,5% and such, but considering we have no economic growth and high unemployment figures, we'll be in for a rough ride in the future. Population growth is directly influenced by poverty, low poverty levels=low population growth.

On the other hand, the culture of "necklacing", liberation "through matches", "one boer one bullet" are indeed a part of our violent past which contributes to today's violence. Along with the ZANC's constant defying or the Rule of Law.

Stop lining your pockets and start fixing the cracks that you have made! Crime cannot be sorted if the overseers are knee deep in the crime themselves. Same with the politicians, lining your pocket and living a fat cat life comes 1st, so they cannot control anything. Problem 101: They keep lining and living and spending, while we keep fighting and losing a war that they create and don't ever join! A war that tears us apart daily, with crime, corruption, negligence, hate, and my personal favorite....Apartheid. All the issues that they incite and blame! A broken arm cannot be mended with a plaster...

why not? There is not a single backbone in the govt. so blaming it on anything, but their own incompetence is the standard agenda. Besides, it gives the SACP "wriggle room" to push for: 1)-security police; 2- interrrogation, under torture; 3)- the establishing of Gulags and "death camps".

Whose a whole rabbit then

Whose a whole rabbit then

Its not beneficial for them to stop crime. They would lose all the taxes from insurance companies, All the taxes from VAT on replacement goods, Taxes on estates of deceased people murdered, All the taxes from PAYE on the security personel employed, Taxes on security companies profits and they would shed 500k plus jobs in the private security industry. WHY WOULD THEY WANT TO STOP CRIME???

You missed a comma in your first sentence, and you require either a comma or a full stop after the word lacking. The dash is also not strictly formal grammar, but it's probably debatable. It's amazing that people who make grammar errors comment about grammar errors. Being a population denialist is the same as denying global warming. And even though we don't have a significantly high population growth we have very high unemployment and very low economic growth. Since you claim to be so clever you draw your own conclusions on the equation, Mr educated.
