Considering the Bond Note is realistically less than 1/3rd of the value of the US$ using the implied exchange rate reflected in Old Mutual shares, around $1200/tonne for GMB wheat would be a reasonable starting point. However as the season progresses and the value of Zim's BN dollar continues to fall, frequent GMB price revues will become essential if it wishes to maintain deliveries compared to those who can offer to buy wheat using genuine US$?

Current prices of wheat in Zambia are US$420/tonne due to increased electricity costs, and in SA US$300/tonne, although regional prices are around US$370/tonne. Wheat costs are much higher than maize, so what wheat purchase price will the GMB be offering to take into account much higher production costs within Zimbabwe? Since the GMB maize purchase price was nearly 3 times higher than regional averages, will the GMB align its wheat prices to over $1000/tonne?

It’s not from me but I use it a lot - google it. Another quote I use a lot is : never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups, ie: the votas . Cheers

Well said, Marty. If that quote stems from you - sublime. If not, please let me know the author's name and thank you for sharing such witty wisdom.

This lawyers brief is clear. Do your most incompetent best. Escom's blatantly obvious plan for justice to be seen not to be done.

Sikonathi is a man of integrity and a great character in the world of journalism. That this fat sack got so riled up by him goes to show what a little bit of prodding can do to an overweight, overpaid vulgarian who only knows how to shout people down and hurl abuse.

Eskom certainly knows how to pick 'em. What next? R50,000/day for this lout. Justanother example of fruitless and wasteful expenditure. Until this SOE is broken up and sold off nothing will change.

No. It is a colloquial term from the region you have referred to. Unfortunately I am only willing to provide limited horizon in this regard. To prickle your interest it relates to an area the sailor's frequented once back on shore and indirectly relates to the language used by many of the parents of the problematic children who are sent to Michael House, and to a lesser extent Hilton!

If only they first checked his postings on social media, they should soon have realized that a person with the acumen of willingly wearing clothes which he can hardly get into, could probably be an indication that he is a mere wimp which relies on attempting to bully people with "Point Road claptrap" and should have probably been reimbursed no more than R3000.00c per day! I wonder what this baffoon posts about himself on LinkedIn, which is generally know and referred to as the "Serial Con Artist" website"?
