what people think about it

I am confident Ferrari will come back at the Mercs in the next few races. I think Austin is where the Mercs will be strongest but most of the others should favour the reds I think. With luck we will end on a decider but reliability as always could conspire to deprive us.

Ha, ha, I didn't say by how much! But I think he has improved fractionally, whereas Verstappen riles me with his childish tantrums, and then to spoil the entire race by winning! ;-(( A pity about Vettel losing way, as the Championship was interesting while it was a close fight. We'll have to see if Ferrari can improve.

Bad luck for Vettel, but will prove exciting for the crows with him steaming through the pack. Hopefully he gets past that little brat Verstappen! Hopefully he'll mature like Vettel has done! A bit of deja vu!

I think that what is missed, however is that once an entity is privatised, and placed under ethical management, one cannot loot it of millions supplied by the taxpayers. It is then (provided the management and ownership is very ethical) out of reach of the looters. That's perhaps why there is such resistance to privatisation.

The secret lies in proper ethical management by people who actually know what they are doing - not a bunch of inept, incompetent, unskilled, unqualified and too often downright dishonest party cadres who would have difficulty running a spaza, let alone an airline. The closest any of them should get to being able to put 'airline executive' on their CVs is if they had worked at your local garage, inflating customers' tyres.
