what people think about it

Hey, Bob... You know the saying: "God helps those who help themselves...." I'm afraid that prayer - though it might help to instil a sense of 'hope' - isn't going to help anyone. Another saying you might know: "Hope is not a Plan" We need action...

Restoring public trust, puh...you need to restore the trust of business. I tell you what ducky, just tell business that you are sorry that KPMG supported the ANCs corruption and played a small part in the investor downgrade of the country to the detriment of millions of poor people (and for many years to come). Also tell them you are sorry for supporting a 'typical African Dictator' - yes one of those ones that has kept Africans poor and suffering since the end of colonialism. Big business will just forgive you immediately and re-appoint KPMG to audit their books - this time big business will ignore the fact that a leopard never changes its spot...there, there now.

Restoring pubic thrust: Pull the other one, it's full of crocodile tears and organs of state (rapture), Bain, McKinsey and the consulting show, all in bed together, 'tis how they blow, and billions capture, whilst Arthur Andersen reminds as to how low they go!

Brother, politics idzi hadzina kunaka. It does not matter which party you belong to...but why would masses heed a call to boycott elections if the playing field was level and there was no suspicion of rigging in Kenya. Back home, after Zanu Pf, MDC T/N or any other party u remain my brother and we remain Zimbabweans. All I want is a free society where my vote is respected and not manipulated...where it does not matter that I am Zezuru, Karanga or Ndebele...where I dont have to bribe my way through normal things like getting a passport. Where I dont feel threatened/intimidated when I see police officers, where I feel free to use my real name on social media platforms and castigate Zanu Pf without fear of reprisals(not because I hate Zanu Pf but because I love Zimbabwe). Where I can be a Zimbabwean, proud, happy and prosperous.

There are times when you feel you have seen enough drama and Kenya should just move ahead. Do you really think it makes sense to run another election to correct the anomalies that Raila and colleagues saw in the first round of a "sham of an election"? Some things just cannot be corrected. I think Kenya would have been miles ahead had the first election not been challenged and nullified. We are talking about people's time here, government resources and much more. Shall African countries get poorer just because they are chasing this fuzzy thing called "democracy"? Elections in Africa are like a a raw sweet potato (mbambaira). Don't ever think of straightening it up! They are also like football matches, whereby the ruling goverment is the home team and the opposition is the away team. As we know, the odds usually favour the home team, although away wins are also not uncommon.

I think you one such kind of a moron who finds happiness in the suffering of a lot.Your ignominious ignoble character will do you no good.Your understanding of democracy is unfathomable.Stooges of the west are people with different views from the ruling party. You do not even know why we vote.Elections are there to choose a leader you want based on what vision they sell to the people and labelling opposition party supporters shows that you are a psychopathic minion.

This Raila lost the first election and he is not a fool to repeat and lose. All he is doing now is to try some violent strategies and I would want to believe he has some close associates to help him wage a war against the government of Kenya. He has been in this race for long since taking over from his father Jaramogi Odinga who fought endless but losing election battles against Jomo Kenyata father to Uhuru Kenyata. On 30 Dec 2007 Raila lost to Kiibaki and disputed the results. he did not take to courts since he suspected manipulation of the judicial system by Kibaki and hence there is nothing knew about this boy and his war-like tendencies.

dude. its not about winning elections. when the voting process is not transparent and the ruling party has access to all the state funds its easy to fake a win. it doesnt help the country though does it? thats what all the comments on this forum are about. no one cares about the parties.

Agree 100%. Same as in Zimbabwe in 2008. Three week delay in counting votes, then declare a rerun. Unleash the police and army, kill 300 opposition supporters. The opposition boycott the poll and the incumbent wins a landslide. Opposition then called stooges and bunch of sore losers.

What dictator? There is no political dictatorship in Kenya as we see facts on the ground as reported. President Uhuru Kenya was elected. Those who decided to boycott elections exercised their democratic right. Interestingly ,the Kenyan Chief Justice voted when Raila the loser was advising his supporters to boycott the re-run. In Zim we have our own Raila stooges of the West who lose and cry foul as their political practice and culture. But the nation will not be distracted by those ordained to be losers and opposition outfits forever. The Kenyans will move on and leave stupid losers screaming and kicking in vain. Uhuru will put his foot down and call the country to order .
