CNN knew that their black moderator would be strongly biased against Trump, and thought his credibility would be better if people did not see him. So they avoided showing his face during the debate to make his interventions more palatable.

It has happened before, it is happening now and it will continue to happen into the future. Corruption is as old as politics and plays an intrinsic part in its execution. It is human nature to want more than you need. Money trumps morals every time, just look at the history of the catholic church and its' traditions of fraud and corruption.

it is always the same story, conclusion, the litter of pigs changes, but they all eat out of the same trough..our land, wealth and heritage..all Maltese politicians seem to be made of the same decade and corrupted stuff.. shame on them all! The worst part of it is, that there are still some that condon one side or the other. Worst is when they defend one side because the other was just as bad.

Yes of course it was uttered because there was a Labour government. We know that such a phrase would not be written no matter what bad things the PN did when in power. Search for truth they now say!

I find it strange how the Lands Dept kept on bending backwards to please the buyer -and his attorney. Usually government employees ensure that people dealing with them get a hard time. Red carpet treatment for this one!

The phrase was uttered because there is a Labour government. The situation was not so different in other administrations. From time in memoriam there were always "crooks everywhere you look"; This reality has never changed and it shall remain like this until the end of time all over where their lives mankind. The situation becomes desperate only if the rest of us merely give up and succumb to despair.

The police should take immediate action to investigation this case of institutionalized robbery by a person who was appointed by society to prevent these deals from happening. What action is being taken to see who benefited from this deal certainly not the government .

All the single storey little houses on the seaward side of spinola road are going. There are now maybee 3 , ten years ago maybee 12. 70 years ago maybee 70. 120 years ago just bare rock. Instead of a Maltese family living in each lovely family house , with Maltese children by the seaside , they are replaced with flats / garrets/ airless basements. These new warrens of hideousity accomodate indifferent flyover residents for the odd weekend now and then. The children of Malta forever confined and constricted into smaller and smaller crabbier and crabbier places. Further inland or into less salubrious pitches. This is what happened to the plain indians. The same thing in a different time and place.

So because of his own objections, the applicant got his way to the detriment of the Government coffers.
