I'm sure you'll explain what you mean; and why you consider my comment unwise/stupid/idiotic... As with your "bygone era" comment to Jack, you fail to explain yourself; and your 'one-liners' don't come across as particularly pertinent. Perhaps you'd care to share your insight which, without explanation, I find puzzling...

"These 60% are mostly kept unaware of the facts; and are fed only what the captured "independent" media provide." This does not explain why the majority of ANC members of Parliament or the 95% transformed civil service keep voting for the ANC. Surely they should know the facts and where we will all end up if keep following the pied piper. But they keep voting for the ANC. The mistake that whites make is to judge black behavior agianst white norms. It assumes that blacks see them as individuals with free choice like whites became after many many years of being exposed to democratic principles in a mostly homogeneous population. Whites brought this mindset with them from their motherlands. Blacks see themselves first as members of a tribe, then as members of the same nation and never as members of the mythical Seffrican nation. Black politicians have become masters at subverting western democratic principles for their own selfish benefit.

"...South Africa is an extreme case because of the small tax base..." Remember - a much smaller tax base supported the strongest military in Africa, enabled this country to build its own armaments, vehicles and aircraft; and paid the costs of a sustained war on three fronts for decades. Today's tax base is MUCH larger, yet we're fighting no wars, manufacturing no military infrastructure - indeed, we HAVE no military (army, navy or air force) to speak of... The question we should all be asking is: Where is all this revenue going, if we now have to (but can't) support what were once thriving organisations like ESKOM, SABC, SAA, SAR&H, ATLAS, etc...? What South Africa needs is a genuine citizens' tax revolution, including our refusal to pay ESKOM's ballooning rates, as Kenya's Nairobi population did some years back. Place all taxes in an unbreakable bank account, until the government provides what these rates and taxes are supposed to cover. Private, small organisations sprang up to repair- and maintain roads, drains and power lines; and private bowsers delivered water... OK - so we don't have real leaders in government - we need some real leaders to come forward from the citizenry - bankers, fiscal- and infrastructure experts to get this country on its feet despite the ANC's drive toward self-enrichment and destruction of the national spirit...

A serious flaw in the understanding of universal suffrage, is that most don't see it as "equal opportunity for all" - it's touted as "equal outcome for all"... This erroneous goal is excluded even as a possibility, due in part to the "unequal distribution of ability" (of course, Colonialism's fault); but due also to the unwillingness of many to do the necessary work to achieve a good outcome. If outcome is to be guaranteed whatever the effort, we end up with Marx's and Lenin's society - which, despite proof positive that it cannot work anywhere - is still the nirvana which the SACP hopes to achieve on the back of the ANC, without achieving a single vote in its own name...

"...My read on this is that 60% of the people in Seffrica, mainly blacks, are quite happy and content with the situation as present..." I don't believe this is entirely true. These 60% are mostly kept unaware of the facts; and are fed only what the captured "independent" media provide. They're told that the (white) DA is attacking the DearLeader because of jealousy at his high achievements, his many wives; and of his high standing, and the "respect he commands in the world community". It's these 60% to whom rational people and organisations need to deliver the real message; but attempting to do so is fraught with physical dangers to the 'messengers'. Therein lies the real problem - the debate is shut down before it can get off the ground. If the SABC, for instance, were not also a member of the captured clan, a sustained TV truth-fest would bring understanding and disillusionment to a huge number of important and influential people in communities where this message would have traction. So our DearLeader's strategy is exposed; and his shrewdness and cunning highlighted. Through carrot- and stick methods, he keeps those who could remove him in check; and those who could discuss- and thereby expose him gagged... Lessons well-learned from the Cold War days; and perfected during his shameful sojourn in Angola

Universal voting franchise is fast becoming discredited. As fair as it sounds, everybody is equal, the outcome is negative once politicians start using other people's money to buy votes. South Africa is an extreme case because of the small tax base but one sees similar developments in other countries. Maybe the right to vote needs to be earned and not come automatically.

What can one add to such a damning list of corruption? Words fail me. What I do know is that firstly, we can forget the ANC ever cleansing itself. At the last election the ANC received about 60% of the votes. The MPs who went to Parliament to represent these voters supported JZ783 en masse. My read on this is that 60% of the people in Seffrica, mainly blacks, are quite happy and content with the situation as present. Dishonesty, fraud, corruption, etc etc must be their normal default setting. Why else do they keep supporting the ANC? Secondly, why should honest hardworking citizens have to put up with this tyranny of the majority? The present shamocracy is the result of the pressure by the liberal deluded west who pushed for universal suffrage in order to feel good (assuage their guilt for colonialism) instead of doing good by supporting governments that were performing miracles against huge odds. My prediction is that the intra-ANC faction fighting for positions at the trough will intensify as the state's ability to provide services diminish and voters just stay away from the polls. With the Zumafia's desperate attempts to extend Zulu control over the levers of power we can even expect civil war. Separate development should again be looked at with a homeland for whites, self governance for every nation. Let the innate criminal look after themselves and leave honest people to govern themselves in accordance with their own value systems.

Since everyone knows that DCG was always surrounded by high level PNers, definitely Not Labourites, because she never mixed with that sort, because according to her , these are the Cream of the Marmalja and Hamalli. So one would immediately come to the right conclusion, that she was certainly referring to PN crooks and I am absolutely certain, she was definitely referring to Her New Found Nemesis, who happens to be, the One And Only , Delirium Bemel Delia. Having said that, she should have smelled, first under her own Armpit, before accusing others, because I, or rather everybody, are under the impression, that the Inland Revenue, before Labour was elected into power, were prosecuting her, for not declaring, I beleive and also avoiding to pay VAT and I am under impression that even income taxes are still owning to the Inland Revenue. In my humble opinion, She seems to be untouchable in our Dominated PN Infested courtrooms and these people want judges that are more accommodating then others. Thanks to our luck, Labour was elected and re-elected and things are gradually changing with man of honours being selected.. That doesn't mean that there are not Honourable PN Magistrate and Judges. I am under the impression that Businessmen, who avoided who owned or rather avoided to pay a couple of thousands euros in VAT, if I am not mistaken were immediately put in prison by a the PN government. Having said that I might also be mistaken and stands to be corrected.

A journalist uses the pen and not the sword, although it is said that the pen is mightier than the sword. We as a Western people need to grow up and start accepting satire. We cannot behave as some fundamentalist Muslims did in the case of Charlie Hebdo or the Danish cartoons on Mohammed.

Delia withdrew the libel suits as a sign of respect to the family. The family now need to bereave their loss . It is a very delicate period for them and I do not think the way some Maltese reacted, did the family any good. Al least at the European level, the family were treated as human beings....in Malta ,no good.

AND when she wrote “crooks” wasn’t she also referring to DeLiar her LATEST and biggest target? That’s how ’they’ referred to him in her blog and you’re very well acquainted with it (her blog). As regards the marmalja (another example of hate speech) don’t you think this applies also to those around you? - They come in various forms and shapes. As if you come from some noble family. AND what have you to say when she wrote “Glory, Glory Alleluia” when Dom Mintoff (considered by thousands as their Saviour) died? Wasn’t this a classical case of hate speech? I can speak for myself I was overwhelmed when I heard the news about Alfred Sant and made it a point to wish him well , when I met him - when he got better - it was at a Book Fair that I met Dr Sant. I was also greatly saddened on the death of Dom Mintoff and I wrote about it on news portals. We are not living in a jungle but in a society. Irrespective whether she showed compassion to Alfred Sant or Dom Mintoff's memory , Daphne's brutal murder makes a human being not only in Malta but across the world shudder and is filled with grieve.

Labiour trolls writing on this story are showing no compassion when the country is hurt with Daphne's killing and are regurgitating comments against Chris Said and the Nationalist Party. It is very systematic and not spontanious. This is a very Manichaen approach - a black and white approach ...on 1 side angels (Labour) on the other devils(the Nationalists) . Since the election it has been a 5 month campaign against the opposition at all costs. Even the killing of Daphne has created problems for the opposition when it was said that it could not be excluded that Opposition leader Adrian Delia had a motive to see Daphne disposed of. This is a blatant lie , said to create trouble for the opposition and splitting the Nationalist Party. This is beyond all reasonable argumentation and tends on the fantastic. When Adrian Delia withdrew the libel charges against Daphne, these trolls said that he should not have done so and should have left the libels effective. This recalls the hysteria of Stalinist purges and show trials of the 1930's in the Soviet Union - the worst form of personal attacks and oppression.
