I got you 100%, no misunderstanding there at all, Mr Burger is totally down playing the fact that these are indeed racially/politically motivated murders, thats why the government and the police force are doing nothing about it. their agenda is to drive all white farmers off the land for their own gain. In KZN less than 35% of all land inclusive of farm land is in white ownership and the other 65% is in black ownership and by state, yet they continuously scream about white money monopoly and giving back the land. makes one think about the hidden agenda and the BS the press feed us everyday. private primary schools in johannesburg

Police File: 13 'ed, the only problem is that it's an orchestrated assault on the prime target, and they'll spin it any way that suits them, always best to keep in mind that they have no intention of stopping the massacre nor of following up on the weekly murders.

The problem is: if the attacks are racially motivated, then the police are limited in what they can do to address it (It's erm "political" dufus (wink)) If this is simply "common crime" gone wrong (escalated), then the police can address it in that way.

My sincere condolences on the death of your brother, the white farmers living through hellish times for oh so long now, with no end in sight. As I understand the point you are making, Burger is implying (or seems to be implying) that there is no racial or political agenda/motive regarding the never-ending "black on white" farm attacks, when in fact, the attacks are racially and politically driven. In other words, the attacks should rightfully be labelled as racist, politically motivated attacks by dark people on light people. In the same way that even the most minor indiscretion/incident involving a white "against" a black is labelled racist, in near-hysterical terms, by the lying lamestream media, politicians, libtards, cadres and assorted government lackeys, sycophants one and all, hidden hands hold them in thrall!

I have read the article again, and I am wrong about this Mr Burger, but if I read and I see the word politics and whatever in an article my blood starts to boil. But I must rather not discuss anything anymore, because I have this anger in me and I see that I say things that I should not say. I know what people are going through when there is/was a murder or any attack.

No, not at all. My brother was murdered in 2004 and no one was caught and there was an attempt on my father's life in 1976. Why I acted this way is because the guy brings in politics and race. PL paints their own picture in their actions/non-actions, this puts Malta in a negative light. So who is being negative here, the ones trying to stop corruption, or the ones doing nothing about it? PL - you are in power, do something about it instead of trying to deflect blame to others.

Peter Midler

Peter Midler

No one is saying otherwise. However what you do not understand, without excusing anyone, being such a tiny island Malta needs a much, much, much bigger effort in certain delicate matters for the simple reason that everyone knows everyone. If you do not understand that reality, you need to thin about it. Having said that, when the PN were in power they did little to improve the rule of law and dragged their feet if not stopped completely to enact the necessary statutory instruments to fight corruption and the like! On the other hand, the Labour government within a few months in power removed prescription for politicians (meaning that there will be no time barring from the authorities to take legal action against politicians, when and if evidence can be brought forward, no matter how many years have passed). Another strong legal instrument to fight corruption was the Whisteblower's Act which the PN governments were too afraid to enact. The difference between PL and PN is very obvious and it is the PL that have the political will to make the necessary changes.

Law and order should be colour blind. You do the crime - you should do the time - very straight forward. Nothing to do with PN or PL - a crook is a crook - every single accusation should be followed up by an independent authority - fast, efficient, transparent and incorruptible.

Clemens Hasengschwandtner

Clemens Hasengschwandtner

Law and order should be blind - stop all the PN or PL bullshit - you do the crime - you do the time - that's how simple it should be. Starting with the Maltese clock from 10 years ago to any other allegation which has come up in the meantime- every crook should get his or her deserved punishment - all leads will be followed up - an interdependent justice system is not about PN or PL - it should be in all our interest

Well, Joe, PM Muscat can easily distinguish between fakes genuine people. He can also smell a hidden agenda from a light year away. Yet, if thyy asked for a meeting I am sure he would not have refused. What thousands of thousands of people who colossally and epically voted Labour think is that these wannabees hoped and prayed that there will be no meetings because when things are fake, it all falls like a house of cards! Simple logic.

Ignoring the fact the prime minister's comment regarding a drug trafficker who got away with it because of shortcomings of a previous police commissioner and attorney general which is a logical fallacy, a good example of the type of justice currently being served is the appointment of Dr. Martin Bajada as a court expert in Daphne Caruana Galizia's murder probe. Dr. Bajada is a convicted felon with a criminal record. Last year an appeals court disqualified a report by Dr. Bajada because of his criminal record. The Chief Justice himself indicated that other judges and magistrates should be guided by the aforementioned appeals court decision when pondering whether to appoint Dr. Bajada as a court expert. Enough said.

The PeNe will do its best to throw a wrench amongst the works, for obvious reasons. You will never please everyone, especially those with hidden agendas. Whilst you cannot discount any genuine concern coming from whatever quarter, your mission is to stir the country in its current direction, making necessary stops and corrections, en route. Good job so far. Firm hand on the rudder.

I thank you, You have to be objective. Why didn't the PN bring ths issue of the rule of law then. They were in charge. The Police commissioner and the attorney general were under their control. Please tell us where you stand on this issue. What s important is the the PL did not want to make a big issue about this and damage Malta further for political reasons. This is the main difference between the two parties. Do you see my point and if so, what is your view that Malta is being dragged for political reason and damaging our institutions Be objective now Anna. No partisan politics.

My response is that we expect him to address the important issues at hand- the rule of law which has degenerated, Daphne's assassination and the protesters in front of Castille.
