Even worse, the drop in Anchor Capital's (Peter Armitage) share price. Regardless of gender, asset managers know how to take advantage of the public by listing their entities at the peak of the business cycle.

LOL! I hadn't noticed the stock price until someone else brought it up, not 'degrading' her in any way. She has no chip on HER shoulder so she'd have appreciated my complement. Your little effort at the end of your lecture to try and put ME down failed as well, have done well in life. side effects

Typical male minded. First you try to degrade her by saying the stock has dropped, which is normal in the climate we are in, then say she is "cute". What do you think, people don't see through your attempt to put her down? She is too clever for you. She would not be where she is if she took any notice of the "cute" remarks she has been subject to during her career. And I am sure she received many, all from men who didn't quite make it themselves.

I would have liked to have seen a Maltese firm undertake the work farmed out to Henley and Partners which is from low to nil tax Jersey. OR is it henley and partners holdings. Its all very unclear. The profits earnt from these passport sales commissions / fees do not appear to be subject to Maltese tax. The Maltese state is so thick there is no hope.

Why don't you tell us where the 1,000,000,000 in debt that your beloved PL added to the National debt in four years went too. 25% reduction in Electricity & Water Tariffs; who is paying for that I might ask. All of us are every time we go to the Petrol Station. OOPS, sorry I included the persons of trust with us. Forgot that many of them are given a car with petrol allowance as well every month.

There is some lousy administration on the island in departments which should be able to give an answer in seconds. Does make me wonder exactly what is being hidden . Come on Malta, time to come clean and make a fresh start by employing people who can produce lists... of glucophage

Sorry, but who are you referring to? "your PN"? I can't vote and I'm not affiliated to any party either. I see a lot of issues with those points. Also, doesn't change my main argument. How are they going to finance that should passport sales stall or even be stopped?

AN IN ADVANCE APPLICANT list should be published to give Maltese an opportunity to dispute any unwanted applicants. Colour photos of applicant , wife and kids. Whyever not? Publish the application too with all the figures and due dilligence.

"The government is legally bound to publish the list every year and usually does in August." This confirms that JM's regime (one cannot call what we have a government because of the numerous violations of the law that it has committed) is clearly in violation of the law. It is the constitutional duty of both the AG and the COP to bring forward formal charges against JM's regime for violating the law. But neither the AG nor the COP will, will they? After all, JM pulls their puppet strings and tells them what to do. JM tells them to jump and each of them answers “How high?” Our suffering nation is saddled with a pitifully pathetic larcenous regime. Note to the usual LP/PL apologists, trolls, and stooges who post their nonsense here. Don’t bother posting tiresome drivel accusing me of political bias, because it has been my lifelong guiding tenet to avoid the slightest hint of affiliation with any political party.

When you say several countries have similar schemes, what you really mean is that the mafia failed state of Cyprus has a similar scheme. Austria has such a scheme in theory, but no-one ever qualifies for it, and all the other EU countries have residency schemes, not citizenship. As for the EU approving the Malta scheme, I wonder if this was contingent on Malta publishing the identities of who gets the passport?

Not necessarily. Some countries are quite touchy about which countries one has visited, e.g. Israel, most Arab countries and, to a certain extent, even the United States. The last thing that you need for such countries is a stamp on your passport that shows that you have been to countries that they consider 'undesirable'. This is where a second passport comes in handy and, in some cases, essential.

So €309 million in the development and social fund, which receives money originating from the scheme, should be a big deal, and €402 million given the day after the general election just to take back cafe Premier that after all was always government property, means nothing and treated just like tips. This is only one unexplained scandal that I’m mentioning here, the list is endless.

Will it retain the PL promised and delivered free Child Care ? Will it retain the Labour Government promised and delivered Free Hospital Treatment and Free Medicines free for everyone

Why should anyone be surprised that this administration does not want to be transparent with the people? This has been its policy all along. Anything that is finally dragged out of its secret cupboard is usually not complete and far from clear. This government is more keen to serve the foreigner who wants to obtain a Maltese passport to enter the EU by a back door, producing income, sometimes shady, to whoever has his snout in the trough, than to be honest with the public that put it in power.

Why would they hide the names unless they were criminals or shady characters? Shouldn't other EU countries have a say in who can buy passports as they are effectively buying EU citizenship.

I don't know, but "denies that Malta’s economy is dependent on the Individual Investor Programme" sounds a bit dull considering that the IIP contributed enough revenue to the government budget to turn a deficit into an acceptable surplus. How's the government going to finance electoral pledges such as tax refunds and even more important resurfacing of the whole road network / other infrastructure projects without that money? Both are major factors for the local economy. Completely ignoring the fact that the IIP fuels other areas as well - such as high end developments that exist to attract such high wealth foreigners.
