What is missing is an acceptable medium of exchange right now so that the little liquidity that Zimbos currently have can be used to purchase goods and services currently being produced by Zim companies without the complications of different prizes for different payment options in the market right now. And to all rightful thinking patriotic Zimboz, the rand is the best alternative at the present moment.

Well i just think its pointless to bent on party politics wen the country is on an economic meltdown. It is good that as a mother-paper you should give us your analysis and suggestions to get the country going.I remember Biti's idea of tollgates was shot-down only to be adopted later and you never gave him credit for that. His tenure as finance minister saw some economic reforms which propelled this country to better levels a fact which you will also castigate because of the source. Is is not fact that SA is our largest trading partner ?If the Americans are our role-model so where is the US dollar now?

Should Zimbabwe dare to adapt the Rand officially, note the word "officially" she would have to adhere to strict guidelines from Pretoria on how the money will be used which Mugabe and his thugs would never want. Otherwise Pretoria will not agree given the history of the Zanu PF government of money laundering and misappropriation.

The problem with the powers that be is that only their solutions work and any suggestion is rejected not on merit. When the government introduced the bond notes we all knew it was not going to work for a long time but Mangudya argued that the bond note will work at 1:1 with the US dollar and if it does not work he was going to resign. As it stands now things are not looking good and people are giving their suggestions and you think its seeking relevance. Why don't you listen to people and try out their solutions after all if its coming from us we will all make an effort to make it work instead of you imposing your solutions which always look doomed before implementation. After all things worked well during the inclusive guidance when Biti was the minister of finance so at least he knows something.

Whoever still listens to the opposition parties statements needs his or her head checked. And media houses that affords such people attention and time clearly have nothing to do. How long have these guys been screaming and ranting over this and that without making headway? I would be dumb to listen to what the likes of Tendai Biti says. Unowukura!!!

During the Kiya-kiya days when Biti was running the finance ministry our economy started to have a life. Those who are corrupt continued to abuse him. They even said MDC was limiting their ability to govern. In 2013 at the promise of 2million jobs the ruling poarty was given full custody of our country:the results are all there to see.

Zuma is a contender on "who wants to be a millionaire". The host asks him his first question. What is the capital of France? Jacob scratches his head, giggles, and says, I dont know... The ANC supporters in the crowd yell, GIVE HIM ANOTHER CHANCE! So the dude asks Zuma a second question, what is the capital of England... an easier one... Zuma, giggles and shrugs, "Berlin?" That is wrong, Im afraid, says the host of the show. The ANC supporters yell "GIVE HIM ANOTHER CHANCE!" So the host decides to give Zuma an EASY question. He asks jacob, "What is 2 + 2?" Zuma, scratching his head, applying his mind,,, finally says, the answer is 4. To which all the ANC supporters started yelling: "GIVE HIM ANOTHER CHANCE!!!"
