Nothing strange indeed, lawyers play win or lose, the truth a mystery, and lawyers never lose, whilst briefcases hold a pretty penny!

Yea man, i'm with you on that one, i don't know how ANYONE can get away with blocking a major road and disrupting traffic without getting a swift kick in the backside. That said it was a non violent protest unlike the Taxi/UBER protests of late, that might be why the SAPS were lenient this time. holiday resorts in pretoria

There's a huge difference between unqualified, and uncertified! I'd be quite happy with an uncertified person with 30 years experience doing the inspection on my car! An unqualified tribal as in SA, is another matter! SARS, Eskom!

Nomfundo, they're all part of the gang of thieves, Banksters and corporate raiders, like blood sucking fleas, government puppets bought and sold, politicians also in the fold, 'tis how they design the matrix mould, to make millions you must be by the Trillion's bankrolled!

Restoring public trust, puh...you need to restore the trust of business. I tell you what ducky, just tell business that you are sorry that KPMG supported the ANCs corruption and played a small part in the investor downgrade of the country to the detriment of millions of poor people (and for many years to come). Also tell them you are sorry for supporting a 'typical African Dictator' - yes one of those ones that has kept Africans poor and suffering since the end of colonialism. Big business will just forgive you immediately and re-appoint KPMG to audit their books - this time big business will ignore the fact that a leopard never changes its spot...there, there now.

You can be certain that if KPMG are crooking the books so are the other big companies like ERNST YOUNG etc... just a matter of time before rhe truth emerges!!

Restoring pubic thrust: Pull the other one, it's full of crocodile tears and organs of state (rapture), Bain, McKinsey and the consulting show, all in bed together, 'tis how they blow, and billions capture, whilst Arthur Andersen reminds as to how low they go!

According to the Davis tax commission you can push it up until people stop thinking it’s good value, I think after the past two years, the only people who think it’s good value work in government and are thieves.. I suspect the tax avoidance rates of South Africa will soon hit the same as Greece, probably even better..

This whole thing is getting ridiculous! My wife and I are having to SELL some of our saved-for unit trusts, in order to pay the tax on the interest they have earned. And then, the sale attracts capital gains! I'm wondering just how we can stuff some things that hold value (Krugerrands?) under the mattress!

It will be VERY interesting to see how this impacts on the unemployment rates. Many, many moons back, 'off peak' bus rides were free to students and the elderly. I can't see why public transport shouldn't be for all the public (as opposed to just those who can afford it)
